Even in high school I'd sit there in biology class during those quiet stretches between lessons. Arms up, mind drifting slow to thoughts of my teacher noticing me in a whole different way. Kinda peaceful how it felt, just letting it build inside. These days at work it's my boss who sneaks into those same calm moments. Office gets still in the afternoon, I step out for a smoke, and there it is again. Those deep little daydreams that keep everything interesting.
