Lately I've been thinking about how quick everything moves around here in Shreveport. Work and all that pulls you in, but then I hit Cross Lake, lay out till I get some color, watch the sun drop over the water. Or take the boat out on the Red River. Those times make me stop and feel, you know, actually present. Clears my head and reminds me life's too short not to chase that calm.
